Should I won a prize?

I knew I was unable to enter the pumpkin competition, but I had some 
cinderella pumpkins that were so small ...I knew I could win.  I was
planning on entering them, but then I felt like a fool.  Yes I am a
fool.....I gave the small pumpkin to a child to enter it into the
contest.  Someone told me the child had to grow the pumpkin themself to
qualify for competition. What the hell, I tried.....
