The Prince Mammoth Pumpkin is a soon to be published book that will appeal to
pumpkin growers everywhere.
It is an adult parable about a farmer who grows pumpkins "for the sacred joy
of it". When he plants a Prince Mammoth Pumpkin seed (which costs him $28!)
the excitement begins. He cares for "the Prince" as if it was his only child.
Just before harvest time, vandals come in the night and destroy the Prince.
The farmer is so outraged that he plows under his entire garden, closes up his
house and leaves town. When, a year later, he returns...he makes a discovery
that will change his life forever.
The book is hardcover and is illustrated with gorgeous full color pastel art.
It will be available in January. If you are interested in learning more,
