I teach first- and second-year "university transfer" English Literature and Composition courses in a community college here in Vancouver, B. C.  But I would rather grow pumpkins, having found them a more lively lot than some of my students.  ;-)

My biggest frustration now is trying to get a bigger chunk of land, because I too grow on a city lot.  And my pumpkin patch doesn't get any sun until about noon.  But, as some will know, land is very expensive here.  So I will just struggle on and try not to lust after those $250,000 five-acre patches of land up the valley, where I know I could grow a really big one.  Argh.
