For heaven's sake people, use your heads an be a little more responsible
with the mailing list postings. The recent message from "Gigi Porter and/or
Reggie Bannister <pmi@gte.net>" was posted no less THAN FOUR TIMES"! This
means that they wasted the equivalent internet mail bandwidth of 4 messages
X 300 subscribers for a grand total of 1,200 messages. Gee, why is the net
so slow....
Not to be a whiner, but I received over 1,000 messages (yes 1,000 messages
folks) per week as the administrator of this list. Every message for every
user on the list that is NOT successfully delivered comes back to my
mailbox. I have to spend twenty minutes each day just letting the bounced
mail crap download and then process the "subscribe" and "unsubscribe"
requests for those who are too lazy to do it themselves.
Whew! Enough said.
Dan Gardner, list admin.
p.s. While I'm venting... I have to put up with crap like this recent
message below from Ken Nicoll. With people like Ken on the net, it is
wonder that anyone puts together sites and runs mailing list on their own
time for other's free enjoyment. Please feel free to spam
kennicoll.newcourt@sympatico.ca with your flames.

>its meaning.)

Would you like your money back, Ken?
