I agree with Dan, I run three mailing list and it is very time consuming
to support the people who can not read or follow simple instructions.
This is only the small part of the job. Sometimes we are looking for
addresses which are no longer valid or people have created .forward
files or their ISP switches email configs which causes even more work
than we want to deal with. I know we all started out as newbies and we
had to learn the hard way, but if you were able to subscribe, then you
should be able to unsubscribe. Dan is like the most of us. We have full
time jobs, families, new born babies, and we even travel on the job. Dan
can be away for 2 weeks at a time and might not have the chance to
unsubscribe anyone during this time.
Any time your join a mailing list, you should keep the instructions
explaining how to unsubscribe. If the instructions are lacking in the
process, just follow the same process as you did for subscribing but use
the word unsubscribe.
