Yukon is gutted

Hi all,
I carved into my first biggie tonight, what a sad occasion. "Yukon" was
actually Brendas pumpkin #451, a 627.5 x 627.5 (self pollinated). The seeds
were copies of its parent seed in size, shape, and color. Interior had no
Dill rings to speak of and it looked as if around 95 percent of the seeds
were viable. I will count them after they dry. I am under orders to carve
'Z100' in it so Brenda can win Stones tickets for us. Z100 will be a sponser
for the new weigh-off, or rather the radio station which hipes the new site
up.
I ordered my cow manure today as well. I have 6 sites planned for 1998, 5
for pumpkins and one for squash. I figure 20 cubic yards in each site should
do the job, if not there are pleanty of cows in the area who enjoy making
patties, and we aren't talking hamburger.

Take Care all,
Brett The Pumpkinguru
