Re: seed exchange - 977

Lyle & Pumpkins,

I have not decided as of yet how to handle seeds from Jabba my 977lber.

As I have not yet extracted the seeds from her I do not know how many I
will have or in what condition they will be in!

On average there are usually between 400 and 500 seeds, however there could
be as few as a couple hundred or as many as 700 to 900. Some may have
germinated, rotted, molded, I just won't know until she is opened up.

Too soon to tell but I will keep everyone posted as to what I find and how
I will distribute them!

Current plans are to move Jabba Oct. 31st from the Agricultural Museum she
is displayed at in Vacaville Ca. to the State Capitol building in
Sacramento. Their she will be carved by Dirk Adams a renowned pumpkin
carver and illuminated for Halloween. I have been told this will be
televised via the major Networks, documentation is currently in the works
for entering her in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest Jack
O' Lantern!

I will have a better idea of the seed situation after this event!

Best Regards to All!
