Carving AG's

Hi Dean.  I understand that if you apply vaseline to the cut areas, the
pumpkin will last much longer.  The only other tip I can think of is, Be
careful when you cut the mouth!  One year I gave our AG a wide, toothy grin
and the weight of the pumpkin almost closed the mouth.  I had to put a
piece of wood in the center of the mouth to keep it open.  Now I make sure
there's support built into the design.  Take care!
