The Giant Urban Pumpkin Growers of America (GUPGA) will hold its annual
weigh off on Saturday, October 17, 1998 at 400 Holly Avenue, St. Paul, MN.
The weigh off runs from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m., with official weighing beginning
at 2:30 p.m. The purpose of the weigh off is to determine who grew the
largest urban pumpkin on the planet, bar none. The usual prize ($1
million, payable at $1 per year over one million years, without interest)
will be awarded.
