Wonderful poem PF+ACE- 
If it didn't help Marv, it sure as hell helped me+ACE-
Hard to come back to reality after such a wonderful weekend of sharing stories and pumpkins with other growers in Carnation.
  And it was nice to meet Jan Canyon and hubby and Chris Michalec from this list on a face to face. Thank you Duncan for being the recorder while Clyde Wilson took the measurements of the larger pumpkins in Carnation. Duncan , you have done a sensational job posting these results of the Carnation site. Congratulations on beating +ACI-Uncle Bill+ACI- too+ACE-  (Sorry Uncle Bill)  Next year it will be exciting to see if Uncle Bill can regain his family title.

+AD4-To grow the pumpkins  if you can
+AD4-Just like a child in awe you'd be
+AD4-Each day  it grew incredibly
+AD4-The prize is not the money paid
+AD4-It's not the mentions papers made
+AD4-It's the pure joy of growing big
+AD4-This pumpkin from the hole you dig
+AD4-So search back deep into your mind
+AD4-Recall those moments there to find
+AD4-And get your butt  out in the yard
+AD4-And work your soil and work it hard
+AD4-So that next year you'll grow the one
+AD4-That's just your best when year is done
+AD4-
+AD4-ps( you might want to think about investing in electric fencing , and a
+AD4-large dog,to help you out with that groundhog problem :-)
