I had the opportunity to travel from Southern Oregon to Port Elgin, Ont.
over the weekend to carve a giant pumpkin at the weigh-off there.was I
surprized when I found not 1 but 2 pumpkins over 1000 lbs. at this contest.
I took the measurements of the 1092lber. Height 38", length 53", width 55"
equator168",over the top 103", over the top stem to blossom 102" . That is
one big pumpkin, and it was recorded at a fantastic weigh off site.Try to
compare it's size to the size of a professors' desk.
