john failor the other person that i knew grew the bobier 779 was
terry hofer. i work with him. it started late a had a huge vine. the
pumpkin came in 4th at anamosa at 651# right on the chart. it was still
growing quite well the week before the show put on about 60# that
week.it was only measuring at 400# on labor day. I think his meas. were
146 x 86 x 90
