Pumpkin Widow Rules !!!!!!!

Hey there fellow Pumpkineers,

It's been a RED letter day for me!

The Pumpkin tree came through for me. No not against the Masses, but against Hubby. He made fun of my funny pumpkin and was quite sure his would be bigger than mine.The two plants grew side by side all summer, both set fruit quite late. Mine the middle of August, his a week or so later, but since the Pumpkin tree has been quite the oddity this year, he assumed his fruit would be superior.WRONG!! We just returned from the R.I.Weigh-off,My baby came in 5lb. heavier than his!! Yes I am gloating HEHEHE!!!!!!!!!!!! and maybe next year I'll get something to compete against the rest of the growers with :-)
