Scott,
when i pulled out the stump from my big one, it had like 3 or four
main roots, they were very thick, and were about a foot and a half long.
I'm not sure if they went straight down, or grew out, but they were
pretty big.

Question: As a general rule, how deep does the main
root (at the stump) grow? Also, how deep does the roots
grow at the leaf junction? Thanks.
