I sent my money a couple of years ago
I got one newsletter (still up on the WPC site), right after the membership
card (mostly a order form for various seeds)
I got a renewal notification with a invoice, I called and said never got
another newsletter.
They extended my membership when asked for free.
Never got another newsletter since then.

I am a paid up WPC member and have never seen a newsletter. I didn't
even
get the promised membership card. The message I am getting is not
positive.
(No blanket judgement here, just a statement of my experience to
date.)
