Hi Duncan,

I agree but look at the header above as captured by MS Outlook 98. There is
no address for the sender so returning mail to the list is the only choice.
Perhaps this header is unique to Outlook 98 but I thought you may have
changed the list to this format to protect some of the heavy hitters from
tons of "please send me seeds" mail. This may account for some of the "do
you know so-and-so's address?" mail that hits the list as well.

Perhaps a cure for the likely soon to get worse problem is to have a web
page that has a "Free Seeds from XXX - Send Bubble Pack to XXX postal
address" section a "Want - Please Contact at XXX e-mail address" section and
perhaps a "For Sale at $XXX, contact at XXX address" section (I really so
need to get rid of those darn 567.5 and 1006 seeds). When someone has seeds
they can mention what section and send people to the page for details. Of
course the listing person would have to e-mail the person who does the page
with information first. Perhaps one of the other people who has a pumpkin
page, rather than expecting you to add another job, would like to support
this list (if anyone thinks there is merit in the idea period). The plus
side of being the page supporter is that the page supporter would get first
crack at every seed....hummmm....

I may not have all the bugs worked out of this concept but somehow I think
there is a method here that is better than multiple list posts about every
seed offered.
