The book I have pub(69) lists about 100 types of this virus. 8 are listed
for pumpkins and relatives. It says it is possible to have a seed vector
of transmission but it is almost always done thru insects. Amoung the
insects involved are the cucumber bettle and a variety of aphids. The
virus do wintering on weeds. Another type virus can be controlled by
storing dry seed longer than 7months. This might help, I think you have a
bug problem tho. have fun, roger.
