He did it for people like you to ask what you just did. Ha ha!!!!
Uh, it was something called a JOKE! It is a comedy show....get it?!
I thought it was GREAT! He was sort of spoofing the fact that Regis had the
real one on his show. I also liked the little on-going deal they did a couple
weeks ago where they had a different "baseball playing" animal each day, and
they always cooincidently "ran out of time" at the end of each show to
actually have them do anything. Basically they just stuck the same little hat
and tied a fake baseball bat to the chin of various animals. There was a
horse, pig, dog, etc. It is Letterman's type of humor!
