Until I went to the Clarence weighoff this year as a spectator (the
first I'd gone to), I'd assumed that all AGs were big weak-orange blobs,
because that's all I'd ever seen on public display.
At the weighoff, I was slack-jawed at the quantity of huge nicely
rounded symmetric/proportioned pumpkins there.
All the supermarkets/farm markets/gas stations around
here are now starting to display AGs that they've bought, and they're
all ugly/blobular. In hindsight, I think I've figured out why... all
the nice round/strong ones are kept for their seeds, and the undesirable
(asthetically-genetically) uglyfruit are sold off. Sound reasonable?
