It's funny, i never realized how many people out there, who aren't
involved with giant pumpkin growing, love giant pumpkins. yesterday i
went to the post office, and they had a display of some large pumpkins.
bigger than what you could buy at a gardening store, but not gargantuan.
anyway, this guy behind me catches me looking at the display and says
"those are some pretty big pumpkins huh? so i'm like, yeah there
alright. so he was astonished, like "what's that supposed to mean? or
you're crazy" so he's like you really think so, so i said well, i grew
a 700# and a 300# in my backyard this year. with that, everyone in the
joint, including the postal workers, were interested in my story,
pictures, and seeds. unbeliveable.!!! it was great, i felt like a
celebrity!!
