Hi Alice,

Knowing the geneology of a seed can help in knowing its likely performance.

In 1997 Andersen grew a 815 lb pumpkin (from other known AG parents) so the
seeds become known as 1997 Andersen 815's. All you need to do to get a seed
named after you is get its parent pumpkin officially weighed, but realize
without knowing its parents it probably won't find much of a following.
>-What does OTT mean?
Over the top. It is a means to measure and then estimate the weight of a
growing pumpkin.

Can't help here.

Yes to decorate/carve. Go here for more: http://www.pumpkinmasters.com/
I think there are other carving sites that maybe someone can add.
May I be the first to ask for an 1999 Alice 1100 seed. :-)
