There is no conclusive facts that big ones come from big
parents.............still there is the argument that most big ones come
from under 700......some with big grandparents and some without.....and like
always both sides of the spectrum are well represented.................one
thing to keep in mind is that there may have been environmental reasons that
produced a smaller pumpkin and if you used that seed again because the
genetics looked good...............and the circumstances were improved
better soil, climate etc....a 398 McInnis......could produce a
810.................there are examples like this all over........
Hey Mike Nerpheny (sp) Can that Data base kick out the percentage of big
ones from under 700??
and those from 700+.......
