Re: Mike Nerpheny(sp)...under 700

Mike , that is beautiful!!......................shear
awesomeness!!..............Was that only from 98??...............that dang
567.5 sure tips the scale in more ways than one.........makes it hard to get a
reading........... but you did a fantastic job.............last year i tried
doing the same and it drove me crazy as I still couldn't tell what to plant
under or over 700..........the part that was killing me was that say all the
977 that were tried and didn't make it to a weigh off or to the data base you
don't hear about......which would change the data........I think ......or is it
only relevant to look at the winners!................so I set out to survey top
growers ask about the the ones that didn't make it.............there were more
that didn't make it, than did ,so i recalculated the winners 700+ plus the
losers and found out what I already knew "nothing" it was so amazing that its
was about 50% under and 50% over 700....................but with your fine
talent someday I hope that it will be crysal clear where the better odds
lie.....................here is another thing i would like to know if you grow
from grandparents over 700 and get an average 559 and crossed it with another
average pumpkin 449 from large grandparents.....will two average pumpkins
give you just an average offspring? Mike I want you to quit your day
job........WE NEED YOU.................giving it a rest....brock
