Soil prep

Hello all,

I am in the process of preparing my soil for next season. The chopped up
maple leaves are already in.

I was wondering which would be better to add next, manure (cow) or compost.
Both are easily obtainable for the samer price.

Any help or past experiences would be appreciated. Thanks.
