The 5 step Microbial regeneration program has really made a difference. I
think I've discovered something that will prevent gardens from going dead.
For some reason Atlantic Giants seem to accelerate the soil Microbial death.
After having my Pumpkins drop below 500 since 1993 after producing many 500+
and 2 600+, this year both of my plants produced over 500 Pumpkins. One "The
Living Dead" was headed for 800-1000 when it blew up at 560 in early August.
(Based on Chris Anderson's records compared to my results) The rest of my
garden has also improved. No more peaks and valleys seen by only using
chemical fertilizers, steady green growth all year long. The Microbial
activity is what processes food into a substance plants can more easier
absorb. The program also includes slow release fertilizers like Fish Meal.
Many growers have seen the same problem I ran into, so it is not unique to me.
I believe growers that are not experiencing this problem are getting some
regeneration from the type of manure they are using maybe because of what the
livestock is eating. I plan to add a fifth element to the program next year.
The first additive is the Dog Food which I just got through tilling in last
night. All the other ingredients get added in the Spring. During the winter
of 99/00 I hope to write a detailed article on the subject. This will allow
me to get one more year of test results including a grower in MA I have
testing the complete method and an Australian grower testing a variation of
it. It's a strange list of ingredients many are old farmer tricks and some
new ones but it works.
