When to cut vines

Three years ago an unknown list member offered the following advise on
weigh-off eve.  It is still good advise.

When to cut your vine:

1) Place pumpkin on pallet in truck

2) Head towards weigh-off site

3) When run out of vine, release pumpkin from vine.
