HI ALL FELLOW LIST MEMBERS
A new British Pumpkin Record was set here in England at the Greyhound Pumpkin
Club Weigh-Off on Saturday October 2 1999. John Handbury of Chesterfield
Derbyshire weighed in a MASSIVE Pumpkin that weighed 816 Lbs.
Handburys' Pumpkin was estimated at 921 on the 99 3 way chart and boy was it
BIG.
MY very good friend Alun Jones of Anfield Liverpool came in at 2nd place with
a Pumpkin that weighed in at 628 and had an estimated weight of 637 Lbs.
In 3rd place was Mark Hewlett from Longparish Hampshire with a 480 Lb Pumpkin
that had an estimated weight of 499Lbs.
