NTGPC weigh off
Here is the results from our Northern Tier Giant Pumpkin Contest,
held sunday October 3rd @ Bradley Farms in Elmira NY.
1. Zach and Ryan Gunderman 755 (Wetzell 914)

3. Bob Erb 655 (Holland 879)
4. Daryl Gunderman 619
5. Larry Brown 600 (Brown 758)
6. Leonard Krausse 580 (Checkon 815)
7. Kevin Brown 528 (Handy 918)
I finished down the line with my consolation 290 pounder.. We had an 806
pounder that went down to a crack, that we used as a guess the weight
contest.. It came from an 879 Holland, and was only 50 days old.. No
cantelouping, so it definitely looked young.. The guy got the seed from
me, and begged me for another.. Low and behold, I had brought my seed
library with me, and suprised him with it later in the day... He had a
grin from ear to ear..
