The Circleville weighoff is closed to a 20 mile radius, and
that is why there hasn't been any big pumpkins there for awhile.
The Barnesville weighoff was already held if you are looking for
a small event. Results were first 797 Dick Baird, second 654
Winston Wycoff. The Ohio state record is 846. If you have one
bigger than that, then I hope you live close to Circleville, or
are willing to take a long drive to get it weighed. I would also
like more info on the Erie Orchards weighoff, were is that, in Ohio?
Circleville is an indepentant weighoff, I don't know all the rules,
but if you are interested, e-mail me at LDNWelty@raex.com for any
info I can dig up for contacts on information. The weighoffs are
done for most of us Ohio growers, unless you are lucky enough to
live close to Circleville. I don't remember the Circleville
record off the top of my head, but I am sure it is under 700.
