Level playing field

I am very new to this sport of growing AG's,
I find it confusing when there seems to be a weighoff
date of Oct. 2nd as pushed as the offical date, then Oct 9th
is our Provinical date, and Oct 11 is another date. I accept
that Oct 9th is our own small show, not counting for other than
bragging rights in our Province.
WHAT IS THE WORLD WIDE DATE FOR THE PUMPKIN WEIGHOFF
