Who has the biggest, the best?

The sweet science of boxing has been wrangling with the same type of issue
for decades. The WBA (World Boxing Association) and the WBC (World Boxing
Council) seem never to be able to agree on just who the heavyweight champeen
of the world is. Each organization publicizes its boxers as the best -- each
gains financial advantage by doing so. A unified crown is not necessarily in
the best (read: financial) interest of boxing.

Neither boxing organization recognizes the legitimacy of the other. It seems
that the same holds true in Atlantic Giants.

The parallels between the two sports are remarkable, really. Those who grow
the Giants are the Angelo Dundees and Emanual Stewards (the trainers) of
pumpkindom. I'd have to say that Rocky is the Bob Arum of pumpkins, working
with better material but with less publicity than Ray, the Don King and
quintessential promoter of big gourds.

By the way, has anyone ever seen what Ray's hair looks like under that
orange hat? Just curious.
