Elk Grove CA
We had a wonderful time in Elk Grove at the weigh-off and it was wonderful to
meet a few of our list members face to face. Zach did a great job and kept
his cool when the scales started acting up. If there was a time to be happy
NOT to be in someone else's shoes that was it! We were unloaded quickly and
were able to be sitting down enjoying a delicious pancake breakfast just
minutes after pulling up in the truck. Mike Brock carved a really cool
looking pumpkin, and Zach carved a really cool apple computer logo on the
back of his head. Looking at all the different scarecrows was great and so
was winning the prettiest pumpkin award with our 202 LB pumpkin, that was
just too cool of a feeling. All in all, it was a great day and enjoyed by
many young and old. Good luck to those of you who have your weigh-off this
weekend!
