I'm new
My name is Gary and I am new to this group. I am also a first year grower.
With the help of Gary Keyzer of Nekoosa, WI, I was able to grow a 503.5lb
pumpkin from his 642 seed. I took 19th place in the Great Central Pumpkin
Wiegh Off. I also built greenhouses and a watering system. My garden was
expanded this fall to accomodate three plants next spring. My goal for next
year is for a 700lb. pumpkin. I can use all the help I can get!!! The
problem is that I don't know where to get my seeds from for next year. Since
I am fairly new to this, I really don't have any connections or any good
seeds to trade. I also don't know what seeds have the best chance of
possibly growing a 700lb. pumpkin. What do I have to do to find these things
out or get some seeds from someone famous like Al Eaton? I am very serious
about growing pumpkins and need all the help I can get. Any help I can get
will be very appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!
