Connie, John, My pumpkin is still growing about 5lbs a
day here in the San Francisco Bay Area.  The secret to
having them grow this late in the season is to plant
them late and then have squirrels munch up the first
females.  

My pumpkin (sally-ann) was pollinated in mid-August
and now measures 296" OTT and is still adding an inch
a day.
