Many thanks to all of you..... 1st prize in Hood River, OR

Dear All,

Many thanks for all the information and humor that all of you have provided
over the summer.  Your excellent reportage has resulted in my 9 year old
son's first year success in growing the 1st Place (sit down for this one), a
151.2 lb Burpee.  Our AG's came on like gangbusters and then just stopped a
few months ago.

So, here's the great decision... We can take our $50 prize money or 25 sacks
of chicken manure as the prize.  What do you think?  Would working that much
chicken dookey into the soil and letting it sit over the winter be a good
move?

Again, many thanks and we look forward to swapping, begging, borrowing or
buying some better seed stock for next year.
