I am glad I didn't make any bets as to who would win based on visual
"weighing". I would have thought Brett's pumpkin would have been the winner.
It LOOKED huge.
Special honorable mention for Joe Derting who grew a 510 lb pumpkin in only
170 sq feet. (Yes, I said 170 sq ft) It just goes to show you can never
second guess good growing and Mother Nature. It placed 16th and he can't
hardly contain his happiness.
(Don't you just love this hobby????)
