Thanks for the advice. As it is we trucked in the 700 lbs of manure since
there are few "live" producers around here, mostly apples and pears are
produced in the area. Hmmm, I could real easily come up with a bajillion
spoiled apples, etc., for composting.
At any rate, our little garden is in the cul-de-sac patch of grass in the
middle of the street so I have to be a bit discreet and can't just start
calling in the manure wagons and so on. I'd sure love to have a few tons of
rotted silage though!
