Fellow Pumpkinheads:
I am the guy quoted in the Philadelphia Enquirer as having said, "Now we
won't have to take any more crap from those Canadians." I have unfortunately
been misquoted. I never said that. I apologize to all who have taken offense
to this unfortunate misquote including my Canadian relatives. I am not trying
out to be the next Ray. All I want is to have a huge pumpkin next year,
bigger than I have had so far. Again, apologies to all.

By the way, Ripleys New Book is out and Gary Burke is listed as the new world
champ but they had a picture of a Japanese grower with his pumpkin in the
book. Sorry Gary.
