Re: Letterman (will seeds keep)

Last year I had my pumpkin on display (482 3rd largest in NJ last year) at the local farm where they have the pumpkin picking hay rides etc. thru halloween. When I cut it open the next day Nov 1, I found that 25-30% of the seeds had sprouted in the pumpkin. It was on display outside and it was a warm october. Are you doing anything to make sure your seeds dont sprout. I swore to my self if i ever got a really good one I would not risk the seeds waiting so long to harvest them. But then again how could one pass up the Letterman show. Keep it cool!!!!!!Protect your seeds!!
It would be a shame if they were lost.
