Help with Definition
Hi Everyone...looking for a little advice with determining what to call my
fruit.Here's the deal:I grew the 879* Rockwell seed this last season and had
two fruit ,a 565lber and a 220est lber. Before the 565 was pollinated I cut
the side vine that the eventual 220est. was growing on because it wasn't
growing fast enough. I didn't cull the fruit in the classic sense,but cut the
whole vine from the main in an attempt to grow the side vine fruit to
maturity (and gain a 879*x self cross for seeds in the future.) without
sharing/keeping nutrients from my eventual keeper.
Now,would this be considered a cull? Or a second fruit from one plant?
Should I indicate that there was 2 fruit on the plant? I'm interested in ALL
opinions.(as long as they're related to this question
