And remember to keep it dry!  I use a silica desiccant to de-humidify.  
If they can successfully germinate  2000 year old grain from the egyptian
catacombs, then we should be able to get a lot better with pumpkin seeds
than 5 years.  I think Ideal storage is dry, cool, and dark.
