I apologize about the length of this message but people emailed me
asking for the COMPLETE results.
THE PUMPKIN
We seem to have consensus on 1131 being the heaviest pumpkin this
season... we can't wait for Steve (someone should tell him that the
season is over).
THE WINNERS
1ST PLACE goes to Elkskin who guessed 1 lb high with 1132.

Honourable mention goes to Bil VanIderstine who tied Meghan at 10th
place but was knocked out of the prize group by the under/over rule.

Prize note:
Because winners submitted personalized list of which prizes they
prefered, we were able to give 2 winners their first choice, 3 winners
their second choice and 2 more winners their 3rd choice. Nobody who won
received a prize package which they rated lower than 6th on their list.
Every winner, except one, chose package "G" as their first choice. I
thought this was because of the great tarp that Alan donated but many
expressed a strong interest in that 935 seed. I think the combination
hooked people. The international package of Italian Porcelain and Irish
garden seeds was another favourite. After these two packages, all
others seemed to share equal interest. I feel bad about Bill losing out
while being so close. If anyone has a suitable consolation prize, Bill
deserves it.
Shortly, I will be contacting all the winners with the names and email
addresses of their respective prize donors. Although some donors
specified that they would send their prizes postage paid, most of you
will need to work out shipping and handling costs.
