This question came up earlier in the growing
season.....
If vines are not buried right away, does it do
any good to bury them a week or two later ??
This is what I found when I pulled out my
plants this year.......
The vines that I buried right away rooted to
a depth of 10" to 14" inches.
Vines that I buried one week late rooted to
about 2 or 3 inches.
Vines that I buried two weeks late rooted
very little or not at all.
Conclusion: Bury them right away and don't
waste your time doing it after 10 days (unless
its to help stabilize the plant in the wind)
