I'm not a prayin man but I've said 3 or 4 all ready. Best wishes on a
speedy recovery. A friend of mine went through this 6 years ago from an
electrical accident.burnt hands arms head and face.lost the tip of one
finger. was blind for 15 days. he has his good looks back . but has to wear
gloves for rough work because his hands are soft.My brother was also in
Sarnia burn unit 8 years back.with hot oil burns on his legs. may
time pass quickly may you be back in the patch soon.
When bad things happen to good people sometimes the battles ultimately
become more psychological than physical. Right now prayers, and good
thoughts, are exactly what is needed. I suggest, however, that once Dan is
on the road, make that expressway, to recovery a pile of cards may provide
that needed lasting psychological plus, especially if each card contains one
or two of each of our BEST seeds. IMHO having a few seeds that makes one
think about the future, and perhaps forget about the pain of the present,
might give a fellow sportsman just the psychological edge he might need at a
time like this.
Done the skin graft thing my self. Pray for you tonight.

Tell Dan his "Deer Hunting" and "Pumpkin Growing" buddy is pulling for him,
Dan is a very strong willed individual, he will overcome this, you hang in
there also, our family's thoughts and prayers are with both of you.
For what its worth: the medical field has advanced greatly in the past
decades. Burn treatment has done wonderful things and continues. I can
state that one of my local friends was burned very badly this past spring in
a propane fire. We all prayed, the whole community for months. But, you
know, for the past 2 months I've seen a lot of Jeff and he is doing great! I
know Dan will be just as great a fighter as he is. And I also know that as a
community (the pumpkin group) we're pulling for him. It will take time -
we'll be here!
I pray for strength and healing...
