picking up the pieces

For three years i have been trying to grow these aggerevating things!! I
feel AG, is derived from aggerevation..lol. Need spell check for
aggerevation. but anyway, Like many of you my hopes were high when me least
promising plant produced a pumpkin that growed quickly and looked very
promising. this plant thrived after the other two were compost material. I
sprayed religiously, misted often, and babied like no other. I was on my way
to a personal best of approx. 400 lbs. I know that is small but I just wanted
something to be proud of. But I guess the pumpkin gods were mad at me. I
went out there this morning and i found mush. My pride had turned into the
"BLOB". But I am not bitter, not mad, just chaulking it up as expierience. I
know more this year than i did last and i will be sure to place something
under my pride such as styrofoam, and move the misters a little farther away
from it!!.
So for all of you who can relate to me, we'll get em next year!!!!!!
Thanks for all the help from everyone on the list.
