frost
Dear List,
We need your help. There is terrible talk of frost for
Tues. night here in Cooperstown, NY. There is no way
we can cover all our pumpkin plants entirely. Is there
any truth to the idea you can prevent frost damage by
spraying your plants with water before the sun hits
it? My friend and I are first year growers and are
striving to grow crafts for an Otsego Lake pumpkin
regatta. So do we set the alarm clock, or set up a
bonfire and steal all the bed linens?
