Central Wisconsin Update
Well,
My first attempt at the AG is over. All my pumpkin plants died of SVB, it
was a slow and pain death for both the plant and myself. I did end up with a
40lb AG pumpkin that is very nice and round. I have it sitting on my front
porch as a trophy for my 1st year. I also got a 5lb Big Max that I gave to a
5-yr old neighbor of mine. That made the season worth it to see his smiling
face. I learned a lot from this first attempt, and I will be there again
next year, trying to get my 100lb pumpkin. I received some seeds from John
Failor a while back, and already I see a difference from my store bought AG
seeds. The seeds that John gave me are twice, some three times as big as the
ones I used. That gives me hope for next year.
