I have a raised bed garden it,s just about 1000 sq. ft. and 1 ft. deep in the
front and 2 and a half in the back i added over 8000 lbs of older cow manure
early in the season and what i got besides mega insects s##t flies
thousands of grubs of various types and weeds was to much nitrogin it split
my leaf tubes where thay met the leaf itself and then later on in the season
the tubes filled up with water and died also gave me huge stumps and vines.
sometimes it,s better to start with to little then to much. next year im not
adding much of anything till i get my soil test results back from the local
