Gordon, you are right, Hera does look a little wimpy
in the picture I posted earlier.  It was taken almost
a month ago, before her glandular problems really
kicked in.  I took a new shot today when she was
taking a nap. (If she caught me, her rage would have
been unrelenting.)  You can see it at:

She is still growing - still not satisfied with her
incredible bulk.  October should bring a big surprise
to pumpkin land.

You should know by now that size does matter. 
Particularly with pumpkins.  If you weigh more than
your pumpkins, you can boss them around.  That works
with mere pumpkins, not with the deities.

Impertinent mortals should steer clear of the pumpkin
gods that out-weigh them by a considerable multiple. 
Hera will turn you into a donkey on a mere whim.  It
would be foolish to deliberately anger her.

I give her lots of room and avert my eyes when she's
watching.  And of course, I give her everything she
wants and do her every bidding with bowed head.

She calls me now - I must go!
