New Cabbage record

OK I know it's a bit off topic, but I think we all can appreciate this
achievement. A friend clipped an AP photo and caption from a newspaper for
me. The gist of it is that Barb Everingham of Wasilla, Alaska took a blue
ribbon at the Alaska State Fair on September 1st with her 105.6 lb. giant
cabbage. This broke the previous record of 98 lbs. set in 1990. It doesn't
state whether this was a world record or a fair record, but it's still one
heck of an accomplishment. Now no little pigs will have to sleep without a
blanket. I tried giant cabbage this year. Very poor germination, might be
big enough to eat in another month or two.
